I'm going to be in Paris between Christmas and New Years and would like some suggestions on fun and inexpensive things to do. Is there a traditional activity in Paris? Like our Times Square? Any suggestions?

Despite the cold, lots of people hang out in the park beside the Eiffel Tower on New Year's Eve. There will probably be some fireworks and festivities there as well. Just bring yourself a bottle of wine, and enjoy the night!
