When we come to Christ He creates in a us a new spirit. No longer an enemy of God but one wishing to follow His closely. Yes we are free to sin but the desire to do so is not part of us anymore. True the flesh that is still sin's slave rebels ans sometimes wins out but our hearts are with Christ so we put sin away... Jim

What's not digestable is your question. I mean I really can't understand it.
Okay, Jesus took away the sins of the world for everyone. Just not everyone accepts his sacrifice. If you accept Jesus into your heart then you go to heaven. Your works are not what get you into heaven. You do right things because it was what God tells you too, and you don't want to sin. I mean technically you could commit any crime you want but don't think God won't punish you or take you out of the world quickly.

I think I see what you're saying. LOL Yea, in my opinion personally, I believe that Jesus died for the sins of everyone in the world that will ever live until His return and what-not. At first one would probably say Huh?! That's not possible. And I say right, it's not, for any _human_ to do it. But, (again my opinion and belief) Jesus was divine and God; He came as a human like the rest of us to earth, but He was still God, and that's why He had the ability to (very painfully) take all sins onto Himself. This had nothing to do with how good or bad humans are; it had to do only with God the Father loving us enough that He made a plan (through Jesus) to be redeemed from our sin so that we wouldn't have to be condemned to hell for eternity. Hope that answer is sufficient for you!

Jesus destroyed Satan's power over man, made possible the forgiveness of sins, and reconciled sinful mankind with God.
That's all.
If he actually took all our punishment on himself, than people would no longer die, and nobody would ever again have to fear going to hell, because God could not require punishment for an offense that had already been fully paid for.
Since people still die, and still might end up in hell, Jesus obviously left a few things for us to work on, too.

Well, your question is not very digestible, but I'll take a stab at the answer. I think you're saying since Jesus died for all of mankind's sins, then mankind should be sin-free no matter what. Maybe the heavenly lawyers should look into this one. I'm guessing that the forgiveness of sin is not retroactive.

Being sanctified by Christ does not mean you are free to sin or that you are immediately a great person. If you accept Christ you are not only seeking heaven, but also righteousness. Thus you must resist and fight the sin you hate (Romans 6:2). Being forgiven of our sins doesn't mean we get free-reign to live immoral lives, we still have to try to live righteously (Romans 6:18). We don't do good works to try to gain entry to heaven; our submission to the Holy Spirit already takes care of that, but we do good works to show that we live according to the Holy Spirit and not our sinful nature (Romans 8:13, James 2:17)

We are free to do anything we want. However if we do everything we want and dont have a conscience telling us this is wrong and we are not sorry then we dont love Jesus and not Christian. Also, Jesus took the punishment for sin, all sin, yours mine and everyone elses.. not just Christian sin. But if you do not accept this gift, it is not yours.

Atheists do no longer face eternal hellfire. extremely, people who actively choose for to no longer settle for the present of eternal existence with the aid of Christ Jesus, who's the only direction to this form of present, only lose out on that probability, and now no longer exist after their bodies die. it extremely is their determination in spite of if or no longer they choose for to stay previous loss of life. in case you ask an atheist in spite of if he believes that he will exist after loss of life, he will inform you "no". and that's strictly what is going to happen to him; it extremely is thoroughly his decision.
