Boy!!! how I wish all battles were unseen. In the Second World War I went through a lot of battles that I wish nobody ever saw. Wouldn't it be great if we could leave all battles up to the spirits ?
Christmas is coming so I don't know about spiritual battles, but there will be many bottles of spirits around.

NO.

But some problems here can be said to be the results of a battle betweeen the essentially theocratic ideas of the Abrahamic religions and our heritage from the Greeks: ethics and secular law, democracy and looking for natural causes as an explanation for natural events.

Yes, definately. My beliefs do not fall into "Christianity" or any other religion, but I definately believe in the unseen. After all, if this earth is the only thing there is, if there is NOTHING more. . .what is the point in going on at all?

No I believe that our problems are caused by our species maturing into adolescence. We are still young and our cultures still make childish mistakes.

What would you do if your child was sent home from school for putting a fellow student in the hospital because he thought that particular student might pick a fight with him next year? That is what we did in Iraq.......a preemptive war.

Yes I do. If we could see whats going on around us it would turn our hair white unless we had a heart attack first. Too many people don't think about that because they don't have Jesus in their hearts , just in their heads. They don't realize that the war is going on in their minds as they read this. God Bless, good question...Maybe a seed will be planted when they read this question and the answers. Happy Thanksgiving...See ya on the other side...
