it's circular reasoning at it's best and it leaves no room for argument....whoever came up with that dandy (various leaders in power to keep those not in power in line through fear) should get a pat on the back.

I wish I could write something totally unrealistic and then say 'Hey, I didnt' really write it, God did, so if you're against me, you're against God, and being against God is a free-ticket to enternal pain and suffering'....those are man-made concepts of fear-tactics to keep people in line......any rational and educated person can see through it, shake their heads, and take action to make such obviously flawed statements a thing of the dark-ages....

such anger. all religions are faith based including atheist. faith is believing in something without proof.you have no proof that there isn't a god. almost all happenings in the bible are proven as far as time, dates and events.and to me it make more sense that a supreme being exists versus trying to explain how it is that humans are the only thing on that reason and build like we do. i know that it is hard to believe in something when you have no proof of it. it is a very debatable subject but there are a lot of things with no proof to back it up. evolution is one as it pertains to man. i agree that things evolve but i am sure there are no fish, birds or primates in my family tree. the big bang, the main proof is sounds of an expanding universe that they believe started from one atom and then created everything.if only there was at least one all knowing being that knew everything. only the believers will know for sure when the time comes. i hope you find your truth.

Our blessed lady appeared to three children in Fatima and showed them a vision of Hell . It took them a long time to get over the frightening vision that Mary showed them . Mary told them ''This is were souls go who do not love my son. I dont believe these children could have lied about such a vision sent to them as a message to the World from God through the mother of Jesus. You can laugh it off if you wish but there Millions of people around the world believe this as fact..

i think a good example of circular reasoning is saying that calling something God-breathed is dumb, but wishing YOU could do it! and you obviously are against God, so how can you even try to pull that against me-against God thing? One, it's quite obviously hypocrisy, because how can someone who is against God be against you, when you are against Him, and it's well known that "the enemy of one's enemy is his friend," whick implies that the friend of the enemy is also the enemy, and the enemy of the friend is the enemy as well. If I'm for God, which I am, and you are against God, which you seem to be, then if I go against you, how can that be going against God? and if your ridiculous, "unrealistic" idea is supposed to SOUND God-breathed, then I hope you know you will be judged accordingly. Even Satan knows the Bible, and he manipulates it to work for him. And he's the top dog. In HELL. and i'm pretty sure that adding to the scriptures, or even just adding to what God says, is blasphemy. watch for lightning. or fire. I'll pray for you.

Why don't you go to the middle of the ocean, take a dive without any apparatus and see how far or how deep can you go?
I hope the experience will humble you. Your puny little brain that makes you think you are smarter than God, I hope will clear your intellectual arrogance.
Everything is easier said than done.

I agree with you. I can understand how people are raised to believe in religious ideas even as an adult if they have never heard anything different. however, with all of the freedoms to discuss religion, you would think that a lightbulb would have gone off at some point. logical thinking makes sense.

it just does. why is it so hard for them to just think logically and not blindly believe in religion. I guess I just don't get it.

Yeah, christians are always talking about the "truth",meaning their bible, but to them basically the bible is true because it says it is.You could make the same argument for all modern fictional books that begin with,"This is the true story of......."such and such. But no one does since common sense tells them otherwise.

If you are trying to prove your point that God does not exist, well then you are doing a terrible job. Why would we want to follow your ideas and beliefs. You are an empty shell of a person who has nothing in side your cold bitter heart. Turn to Jesus Christ, ask for him he will come and you will be proven wrong.

I agree, but it's like the Emporer has no clothes. An innocent child may have pointed out the obvious truth, but the grown ups still didn't get it, and they never will.

It is not meant to convince skeptics like you, it is a statement of faith.

This pearl of truth is not for unkosher creatures like you.
