In a way, yes. Their parents want them to avoid learning facts such as science and evolution. They also want to force their beliefs down other people's throats instead of being mature and accepting other people's beliefs.
The Christian parents preach ignorance and hatred towards people with other beliefs.

I think they do because their parents tell them to. Not so much telling them too either because they have been raised in a Christian household and thats all they know. Its also pretty scrary when you are a kid to learn that if you dont pray to God terrible things will happen to you. I remember answering a question on here when a young girl said will she go to hell if when she sneezes she doesnt say God Bless You. Kids brains are like a sponge and will soak up anything that is told to them. If you have fanatical religious parents, then you are bound to believe what you see and hear.

I never have. The Bible says we should constantly be in prayer so you don't have to stop doing work because you're praying.

I don't avoid learning facts. Evolution is NOT a fact it is a theory. It may be widely accepted but it is still a theory. And I don't believe science is seperate from God. God created everything so how can science be seperate from him. Also, your not being very mature saying that "Christian parents preach ignorance and hatred towards people with other beliefs." are you? My parents never told me to be hateful towards other people, they told me to show the love of Christ. And for the forcing beliefs down other throats. You want me to respect your beliefs, then shouldn't you respect mine. Which one major part is witnessing. And if you say telling someone once is fine, but what type of person if I gave up so easily.

No, Christian kids pray for help and for wisdom. The last time I checked, all of the Christian kids I know actually do their work because it has their own handwriting on it.

Children of religious people are always forced to do things against their will. They dont want it, their parents force their children to adopt their belief system, therefore incorporating antiauthoritarian antics in children these days.

Children who are believers of Christ, pray for Gods glory not their own. They want to pray because they KNOW God hears them!!!!!!

We teach our children to worship God and prayer is part of worshiping him. I don't think it is instilled in them that is a way of avoiding doing their work in class.
