My understanding is that sin is based on doing something that does not coincide with Love.

For instance, if you are being the perfect person but your heart is evil, that is sin. If you are doing something to ultimately harm someone else with that intention, that is sin.

God is more concerned with the intentions of the person rather than the actions. That's why Jesus forgave the woman at the well, healed the centurion's son, TOUCHED the leper, but yet consistently went after the PERFECT pharisees. All because they forgot that all laws stem out of love - they were written for the protection of the people.

Sin is simply a not understanding (that we are one beloved creation of perfect love.) It has been transformed into a monstrous thing. It has no life, no intelligence, no being. It is less than nothing. It also is a missing the mark, as in the old days, in archery, not hitting the bullseye was called a "sin".

sin is any act against the Will of God.... taking any action that would keep any one from knowing The Truth of God is a sin. ... any act to deliberatly cause another harm for no other reason than the self serving interest of the offender.

Anything that would separate you from the living God.

If you put anything in front of your relationship with Jesus, the Living God...then it is a sin and it will put your eternity in grave danger.

Idol worship. We all worship something. Follow the trail of where you spend your money and time...and you will find an altar. On that alter will be what you worship.

Is it money, sex, video games, career, houses/homes, toys like boat, jet-ski, snow mobile? Only you can answer what sin you have in your life.

What path will you take?

There is no such thing as sin. There are immoral actions, but sin as some kind of negative moral currency is a complete fabrication.

Your life. Anything you do. Nothing can change that here. Forget which is bigger, because they are all equal in God's eyes. To sin, means to miss....no take backs or do-overs
