Maybe a dvd. Or some sort of an accessory to add on to something she allready owns. Like doll clothes for her dolls or a new soccer ball for her goal. Maybe a neckalace. A simple one with like a charm with her first initial on it. Its pretty but not too girly.

depends how much you want to spend..they do some good red letter days for kids( dont know if you are uk sorry)...you said she is a bit of a tomboy and i have bought them for my sons they loved them.but they do cost around 50 ponds upwards..but you could maybe organise something cheaper locally...go karting or something.. i think something where you take her out is excellent... i used to take my friends kids out to pics or iceskating etc when they were younger and they still talk about those trips now and they are 18 and 19.

Buy her something original that shows thought and doesn't follow the norm, go to a hobby shop and buy her a remote control car or something. You'll see the delight in her eyes when she doesn't unwrapp a barbie doll.

I think that the best gift anyone can give is time. So give her a "coupon" thats "valid" for something like one bike-ride to the park, or one girls-night-in for the two of you.
