Jeans, Blazers, Sweaters, Heels/Boots--it all depends on where you're going what you are doing but these are pretty basic pieces that women are wearing here during this season.
The temperature has thrown us for a loop so I'd check before you head into town but the norm for right now is heavy coats, hats, scarfs, etc. however today it was in the high 50's so you just never know!

It really depends on what class you are, and what job you work, if you work downtown women usually dress up, if you work at a gas station or a bar you wear jeans, it just depends on what yourjob is, if i am off i wear pajamas,

Downtown during the week, standard office clothing with gym shoes till they get to the office.

am in suburb-going downtown in 2 days-is sunny and in 50's-should be warmer in a few days-sweater and light/med. jacket-no furs needed now!

don't know about chitown but in oc, they wear jeans with thongs underneath.
