We always wrap our dogs gifts and they have their own stockings. And yes, they open everything themselves...

Why is this stupid?
Is it not fun for the animal? Is it not a game that makes them work at something with a reward?
You're probably the dog owner that has never walked your dog let alone played fetch. I feel sorry for any animal in your home.

Our dogs do it too.There are always more gifts under the tree for them than us because it's so much fun for us all to watch them.They have a ball running thru the mountain of paper after the gifts are opened looking for their new toys buried underneath.
We get them gifts for their birthdays too.

No, my dogs arent coming inside until after we open presents and get it cleaned up. My older dog is fine, she just lays there and watches but I just got a new puppy and he would just ruin everything and be annoying haha. My friends dog opens presents, they wrap a couple presents for the dog and it only opens its presents, nobody elses. It's funny. Merry Christmas!

Same here! Dogs AND cats! The only problem with our cats is that they can sure tear into a package they suspect is catnip BEFORE Christmas morning, so we can't put those packages under the tree until the morning...we tried in their stockings, but they would get to those, too! :)) Your fur-children sounds as spoiled as ours! :))

yes ours do every year the dogs get a present each and they love to rip the wrapping paper off

i don't have a dog...but i think that is soooo cute!! it must be very fun to watch them and cheer them on....i'm glad you wrap you dog's presents...it shows how much you love them and how you feel they are part of your family and not "just an animal".....i wish the world had more dog owners like you....

yes, our dogs open one gift (usually a toy that'll keep them busy:) before we open ours, then they can dig into the rest later. They love it!
