He-He!! My 21 month old son had had like a dozen black eyes from not clearing his face from an object, scrapped knees from getting excited, running & falling, bumping his shins on things from reaching & so forth. An icepack lick we use may help with swelling & darker bruises.
I was embarrassed at 1st, then learned as each bruise healed & another re-appeared - boys will be boys. I am sure any active boy or girl shall over come her/ his fall outs. As for the photo sessions, I can only say limited any harmful activities if possible.

yeah, I was in the ER almost every weekend when my son was a toddler. Now he's 16 and about 3 years ago it started up again with the dirtbike, skateboard, trampoline.... You would think he had a deathwish or something. I am shocked and a little upset that nobody thought to look into the situation. I mean what if I were a psycho parent and was abusing him??? I am most definitely NOT doing that, but how come nobody made sure?

Toddlers are so accident prone. All 3 of mine got them. They are part of the childrens lives. Kids are so curious that no matter they fall down they will get right back up and do it again. Dont feel bad, as you can't always catch them when they fall or bump their little heads. Although we as parents are born to protect our children it is not always possible to prevent every fall or bump.
As far as picture taken, never really had any problems in that area.

Yes indeed!!! My daughter started walking early and fell EVERYDAY.
She put her teeth through he bottom lip once. Her cheek had a huge bruise
one day when we went shopping and everyone gave me the evil eye. She
was always very adventurous and unafraid. Now that she's 26 years old
it is not such a big problem. She grew out of the bumps and bruises.

Yes, my oldest son walked around with a permanent bruise on his head because every time it would start to go away he'd walk into a wall or something.
Ours seemed to happen every time we would go to the doctor, I swear I was afraid the doctor would think I was beating him.

Yes, lots of them. The best thing for pictures is a little cheap foundation or concealer. Also try neosporin and sunscreen to keep scratches and "ouchies" from scaring.

When my son was around your daughters age he pulled a lighted mirror down on him and cut his face. Then he stood up on the coffee table, fell off and couldn't walk for two weeks because he hurt his ankle. I caught him falling face first from the coffee table to couch (on purpose). It's normal I think.

OMG! Yes this happens to my son too. He has 3 light scars on his forehead, I have no idea how he got them. Wouldn't you know it, the day he was supposed to take pictures he walks into the rose bush and ends up with another nasty scratch on his forehead!
