I think, I think I even saw an old science project about that before, or was it a hard-boiled egg floating? Not sure, sorry. I think yes.

Edit: oh, I forgot sorry. It takes quite a bit of salt to, because it increases the density of the water, making the egg "lighter" in a sense.

Salt water can allow an egg to float, rather than sink. If there's enough salt, even a person can float; the Dead Sea in Israel is famous for its buoyancy (among other things). This occurs because the density of salt water is greater than the density of fresh water.
