She could babysit, mow lawns (carefully and safely) or rake leaves. She could also offer to feed and walk dogs or water plants for neighbors that will be away from home. If she can't have a garage sale, maybe she and her friends can do a group sale at someone else's house. She and her friends may want to make crafts to sell as well. Maybe try negotiating with her parents for more of an allowance in exchange for more chores and responsibilites at home. She might want to rethink the "not wanting to help the neighbors" bit, because they may be the only "employers" she can find at ten. Good luck, I hope this helps!

Your cousin is too young to need to make money. She should be concentrating on school and being a kid.
Parents with sense would not leave their children with a 10-year-old. IN many states it is illegal to leave children under a certain age home alone. She should only babysit if a parent is present and wants some extra help--like reading to them or playing a game with them while their mom does housework, or talks on the phone, or takes a nap.
If your cousin feels she needs money, she should talk to her parents about setting up an allowance plan.
When she gets older, she will have to worry about money-- why start now?

If her driveway is flat, Sell cups of lemonade(hot day) 50 cents and cookies for 75 cents each. If it's a cold day, babysit! I know you said she doesn't want to help the neighbors but go around town posting fliers!

You can start selling candies and some snacks at school at break time. Just sell them alittle less than the corner store and the kids will buy from you. You can also sell them after school, kids are always hungrey after school. I knew a girl that sold candies, snacks and soda at school and she made money that way. And my daughter sold this one certain candy that everyone loved and she made money that way too. She also sold bracelets and the kids bought them from her. So there are all kinds of little things you can sell and make extra money.
