This is completely normal , the skin is drying out and forming a scab, until your skin is healed the colour may look dodgy !! Remember to keep this well moisturised, i would recommend buying a small pot of Nivea cream for about £1.50 and put on your tattoo every few hours. This will leave the skin soft and will stop you bring tempted to pick the scab !! Just remember you have had a needle injected into your skin .. it will take time to heal xx

It will be ok..just give it some more time..
Everyones tats heal at a different pace...
I have had some take up to a month to heal all the way and look exactly like I wanted them too..
Just keep moisturizing it..moisture is the key element in preserving the color properly during the entire healing stage..
I have tried many different things, the best is the old standby : A&D Ointment..
Just pick up a tube in the baby care aisle at the grocery..
It is a brown color, ut it does the trick and has helped me keep some beautiful artwork in the best condition..

It's just the scab, he's broke the skin when he injected ink into the lower layers of skin causing it to scab over, make sure you keep it well moisturised with whatever he told you to and DO NOT pick at it under any circumstances or you could loose the colour in that place, It's perfectly normal and should clear up in a week or two.

when a tattoo scabs the colours generally look darker so that might be why the colours dont look quite right now. The scabs will crack but try to keep it supple with something like savalon cream just incase as sometimes if they crack too much it can pull the colour out. you cant to much when its healing so wait for it to heal and see how it comes out and go from there.

You need to go get Aquaphor now. It's made by Eucerin, this stuff is amazing. I used it on all my tattoos, my brother used it on his, almost everyone I know has used it and it works wonders. It hydrates the skin and makes it heal quicker, with minimal itching.
You should be able to find it in your grocery or drug store. Just look in the aisle with the lotions. Every tattoo artist I've ever talked to have all said not to use neosporin, that stuff is awesome for about everything and anything other than tattoos.
Aquaphor!

Put some moisturizer (lotion) on it or neosporin, I am sure it's probably dry skin. I have several tattoos and they've all come out looking strange like that until they're fully healed. If there are any scabs on it still, those will make the color look very different also.

It still needs time to heal up. Most tattoos take almost a month to completely heal. Unfortunately it will look faded until then. I wouldn't go back to the shop to see about a touch up for a few more weeks.

No this is part of the healing process...dont pick the scabs whatever you do or you will need to go back for a retouch!!!! keep it moisturised, E45 is the best as its a fairly neutral moisturiser.
If after it has healed and the colours dont look correct to you then go back to where you got it done.

Could just be the scab, the skin will still be settling and the colour always looks slightly different once the tattoo has healed. If you have concerns go to another tattooist and ask him to check it out, which Im almost sure he will.

It's hard to say without seeing it. My tat did raise a bit and looked cracked just a little while healing. It was completely well by 4 weeks though. Did you take proper care of it?
