Who thinks illegals don't pay taxes?

If you think that than your are wrong. Most illegals have no choice but to pay taxes the only difference between legals and illegals is that most illegals cant' claim taxes. Yeah I know your story about how illegals ask for walefare and stuff be in reality only children can claim any benefits. Plus most of you have used services of an illegal in some point in your life it may be in the food you eat or in the clothes you wear. Some has to pick it and someone has to sew it. Nobody complains about that. Besides not every illegal does cheap labor because it's not cheap to live here do the math. Tell me how can you pay for and apartment, bills and food on 5 dollars an hour like most claim.

I never said anything about sales tax. I'm talking about taxes from an employer. About the apartments being full with 8 families that is totally not true. You can't prove that. Here in Los Angeles were I live apartment manager are getting stricked on how many people live in an apartment. I don't see any legals rushing to work in factories were they make clothes. There are tons of factories here in LA yet no most of them are full with illegals because no one else will do it.

If you complain so much about illegals being here and not paying taxes then give them a social security# and give them an identification and I bet they would be willing to pay taxes the legal way. Basically there is no way you can get thousand of illegal immigrants out of this country that's a fact, so why not look for a solution.

If this issue is not racial than give me the statistics on who's on welfare by race it's not only the illegals on welfare.

In Arizona most ,not all of the illegal aliens are paid in cash. That means the illegal and the illegal employer don't pay taxes on anything.The illegal that is paid cash does pay sales tax on anything that he purchases.No the illegals are legally allowed to get benefits but thru the use of forged and /or stolen documents they can and do get them.I personally do not hire any illegal aliens in my business.I cant trace everything I buy all the way thru its entire process to make sure an illegal alien didn't have a hand in it somehow.What has that got to do with the fact that they are illegal?Can you trace everything you buy to make sure that child forced labor wasn't involved at some point in its processing?The fact that the illegals that do pay taxes are paying in one of theses ways,either with a stolen/shared/false/forged social security number .Or working with a TIN# that they pay taxes,I don't have any problem with the fact that they pay some taxes and don't get anything back.First of all they have no legal right
to work here so why should they be rewarded.
The way that a lot of illegals pay for an apartment is that
many will band together and stay in the same apt.that makes it possible.If 10 people make $ 5 per hour that turns into $ 50.and hour collectively.If they work 8 hours a day that's $ 400.per day or $2400.per 6 day work week
So they can afford to rent,eat,and still send money home.
Here in Arizona in the areas that they live in no one cares how many are crammed into the over priced dump of an apartment or trailer park.You are very biased and not fully informed on every aspect of the problems with illegal aliens in this country.It has NOTHING to do with what race they are only the fact that there are so many and they are illegal.Dont be so sure that the illegal couldnt be sent back to thier own country.A mass deportation could be done,after all ,the Army can ship hundreds of thousands of men in a matter of days.So if we let the Army take care of it ,yes it could be done.Mass deportation is the first option as far as Im concerned.

I don't think all illegals don't pay taxes. But I do know fo a fact that if you get paid under the table, then you're not paying taxes. If you're not documented and don't have a valid social security number, then you are being paid under the table. As far as welfare goes, I know not everytone on welfare are illegals. But I saw statistics that show almost 40 percent of people on welfare are of hispanic origin. Which means, 40 percent of all people and races on welfare are hispanic. As far as the clothes I wear, from what I can see on the tags, a majority of stuff I wear is made in china or somewhere else over seas.Yes only children are eligible for benefits, but if an immigrant couple has five children(which is average), then do the math. I think they can then afford to make 5 dollars an hour under the table, which means they are taking everything home. And live very comfortably. Besides, statistics also show that 60 percent of all people in affordable housing are hispanic. So that means they pay what they can and the government pays they rest. I've been through affordable housing complexes and all I see is brand new cars, SUV's with 22 inch rims on them, cars with fancy rims and tires. I also see everyone wearing nice clothes and spoiling the **** out of their children. Now tell me why these people can't affor to pay rent. I think it's wrong to give illegals rights to things intended for American citizens. All this is doing is taking away the American citizens' rights, because they can't afford to give them as many rights.

Sales tax at Walmart doesn't count as paying taxes.

The ones that do pay taxes are illegally using someone elses social security number. The ones that didn't steal someone elses identity are getting paid under the table.

Its easy to pay for apartment, bills and food when you have 10 working adults crammed into an apartment.

You can talk all you want about how they are doing the jobs that no one else wants to do. The only reason that people don't want to do them is because illegal immigrants drove down the salary so low that nobody can live off of it.

If the services that illegal immigrants provided were filled by legal workers than the wages paid would quickly normalize. At first this would be a hit to the economy, but the economy will adjust. Either prices will rise, the need for the service/items will diminish or business owners will find more economical ways to produce their goods. This would have been happening all along, but the influx of illegal workers has kept pricing and wages artificially low. The only reason that there are workers being paid $5.00 an hour is because they are willing to work for $5.00 an hour.

Finally, why is the US the only country in the world that is expected to allow anyone in at anytime. France doesn't do this. Russia doesn't do this. Mexico doesn't want anyone from Central and South America in their country. So why should the US?

I don't know how to break this to you but if you claim 5 dependents on your W-4 when you apply for employment you will not have federal income tax withheld from your check.
Those pesky little illegals know that too bad you didn't.
If they are employed by a company that has them on payroll- not being paid under the table , the illegals are using false ssn#'s and claiming as many dependents as they feel like to get out of having federal income tax withheld. Then when it comes time to file their taxes using their W-2 they just don't file so they never receive their tax bill.
Eventually the SS administration catches that their SSN# doesn't match their name because the W-2 you receive also gets forwarded to the IRS. Then the SS administration contacts the employer about the discrepancy on the name/# and requests that the individual with the identity crisis contact the SS administration, if said individual does not clear up this little mix up- the employer MUST fire them. Then what normally happens is Pedro goes and gets more false paperwork and gets a job somewhere else.

They do not file income taxes. They pay sales taxes, gas taxes, but typically these employers and the employees also do not pay into other payroll-related taxes.

I have never "used" the services of an illegal in my life. If an employer hired illegal aliens, and I bought their product or service, then the employer is at fault for using the services. I bought the tomato from a legal company doing illegal actions.

You are right, not every illegal is doing cheap labor. They have squeezed a lot of citizens out of construction jobs because they are willing to work for less than a citizen. Another reason to advocate deportation.

I don't know if this is still true, but illegals that became legal could claim up to three years of back tax money earned illegally. With the same penalties as a citizen that 'forgot' to file, which isn't much. That still doesn't take into account the ones who are paid under the table, and there are more of them than you would imagine. In fact, my half hispanic daughter has worked such a job and has been offered others by hispanic business owners. No documents required.

They pay taxes on stuff like food and clothing. Unless they are using our welfare system, and don't pay food tax with food stamps and don't really pay anything if they are getting welfare. Most illegal immigrants get paid under the table.... otherwise, they would be working LEGALLY..... so they don't get taxed on that, either.

And that's not just illegals (so I can clarify and reduce my chances of getting "reported" to the Yahoo kharma police).... these are people who all leech our welfare system and abuse it and work under the table so that they don't have to pay taxes, pay child support, or claim kids for court-ordered purposes. They are ALL leeches on our society.

AND the picking and sewing comment.... most things purchased anymore in the US are from foreign countries.... they aren't illegal when they are home!

I would say that if one illegal paid for taxes on groceries and stuff but it's not only one illegal it's millions of illegals so people please do the math, all that money does add up and guess where it is? in IRS safe deposit box. If all you say Illegals should go home maybe they will once the government pays them their back taxes for every single thing they have ever paid for in this country. Why should illegals pay for any kind of taxes if they are not welcome here? All you Americans do Is cry for a lost cause.

in reality most illegals live in multiple family homes with several contributing to a common cause.i once worked near a farm that employed more than four hundred migrant workers and several lived in one single wide trailer. if you can find the dollar amount of remittance back to mexico it may help put some kind of numbers to the issue. they do pay taxes on the things they buy but not federal taxes. i think the main problem is that most do not follow the legal process for citizenship or visa applications.people must be able to be accounted for in some way. like a visa or a work permit. mexico does not reciprocate the overt gestures of th USA. all Americans are immigrants and something should be done but this is a new world and all people must accommodate the problem and find a solution. they do benefit from our system. my main question to you is why aren't they more upset with their own government for not being able to provide jobs. this is a problem that must be addressed with long range views.
