I know that it should be my feelings for a guy and that's all that should matter, but if most of the campus thinks he's a creep b/c he is "klingy" and he smells bad, should i go out with someone who nobody really likes?

U r ur boss and nobody is .Dont care about the world beause they are selfish as they sound.Today ur friends say ill about ur boyfriend tommorrow it could be u.So it is u to decide and not them what u want and not. As far as his bad habits goesthat can be sorted out right? Well all the best and remember u r ur own 'BOSS"

All that matters is that you are thinking about going out with him. He may or not be a creep, but keep in mind there's some issue with him being clingy and smelling bad. You can't really mention those things to him. Might just be better left alone. UNLESS you are willing to deal with it.
