Scoriasis is a genetic skin disorder that cause the skin to flake, crack and peel.

It is not contagious and cannot be "cured" because it is NOT a disease. You cannot "catch" Scoriasis from someone.

However, it can be controlled with medicine, diet, and light therapy.

If you want more information, you can visit any number of sites that will explain what it is, causes of flare ups, and medicines that can be used to keep it under control.

If you want me to explain more about it, you can contact me directly. Let me know by adding a comment to your question, and I will add you to my friends on my e-mail so you can write to me.

skin disorders like psoriasis and eczema may be linked to a deficiency of GLA, an omega-6 fatty acid which is rarely found in food. Numerous studies suggest that GLA supplementation can greatly improve the condition of the skin if taken in significant amounts. Borage oil contains 24% GLA, the richest source available. Try either swallowing the capsules (1-2 1000mg caps daily to start with) or pierce the capsules and apply it directly to your skin.
