No, it's a "push". You get your money back, but don't win anything either.

As everyone says, you push if you have the same hand as the dealer.

The only time you would actually loose is if you both have BlackJack because you don't get your 2:1 bet. If the dealer shows an Ace and you have BlackJack, they will offer you even money. If you accept, you win only win your 1:1. If they show a ten, they do not offer you even money.

In blackjack, if the dealer and the other player have the same number, then it is called a "push" you get to keep your money, but you dont win any.

If you have the same as the dealer in blackjack, it's called a push, you don't win but you don't lose either, you just keep your bet.

I have played spades that way before, but it's been awhile.

In standard blackjack, a tie is a push, however, there are some pseudo-blackjack games where the dealer wins all ties.

i don't know about spades but i think in black jack if you get the same you push (tie) and you don't win but you don't lose your money either.
