Think about it, Barbara Billingsley, the lady who played June Cleaver, is considered the role model for the ideal stay at home mom. She was a career mother herself in real life. But she raised children while working a full time job!

So, can a mother work a full time job (paid position) outside the home and successfully raise children?

I think June is certainly the most commonly used icon to represent that type of parenting.

I absolutely know that you can work and be a good mother. Staying at home doesn't guarantee anything.

Can she, yes.

My issue with working moms is not with the ones who work for need, or even out of want, but with the mothers whose husbands also work, have more than enough money to survive on, and continue to miss out on their childrens lives, out of selfishness.

Its not religion or the Bible that makes me believe that, it is the fact Im a mom that makes me believe that.
