i am on diet and exercise for last one yr i lost only 26 pound so far.from july thr was no change on the weight i am so upset!!!!!!

Congratulations on that 26 pound loss!!! You are at a plateau. The only way to break the plateau is to further alter your diet and change your workout. You have to workout even harder than before. If that doesn't work for you then I would suggest seeing the Dr. I'm in the same boat right now. Just have to decide if I really WANT to know what is wrong with me. My personal trainer told me that there isn't anything more he can do for me and see the doctor for a full physical workup. I fired him.

Do not be upset. Your body is healthy in weight loss. If you want to loose a few more pounds cut back your calorie intake -10 every time you loose 35 lbs. and increase your work out regiment an extra 15 mins. filled with stretching exercises. This will strengthen your existing muscles, slowly but healthy build your arms and other body parts. Give yourself a break once a week from working out for your body to rest and building muscles. It is a lifestyle change which is not over night.

Drink a glass of water before every meal (helps you feel full faster), Lessen indulgent (like sugar, junk food, etc.), fill extra time with a hobby or faith based prayer time when you feel you want to eat unhealthy.

You might need to reduce your calories slightly and change/ modify your excercise. Try a different time of day or increasing duration a little. Hitting walls like this are normal.Try to stay positive and remember that even if you don't lose the weight right away you're still getting healthier from the inside out. Good luck
