How do you know if you have had a panic or anxiety attack? I'm pretty sure I had one last night and didn't know what to do. What do you do to ease the situation?

You feel like your having a heart attack......You become extremely anxious, nervous and unable to calm down. You may break out in sweats and start shaking uncontrollably.
Controlled breathing can help, but i recommend smoking a huge blunt and eating some ice cream.

A panic attack is a sudden unexplained onset of all of the symptoms of extreme fear. High pulse rate and blood pressure shortness of breath even frozen in place by fear but there is nothing there to scare you. An anxiety attack is similiar but the symptoms are not as bad though you can experience chest pain and mistake it for a heart attack.

Well for starters, don't do cocaine or speed! Additionally, sit down take a deep breath and try to maintain cognizant thought. In the morning call your doctor so there is a history and he may want you to come in. Go, because if it is a chemical problem it may be effecting your brain in a negative way, if nt it will be psycological and you may need some therapy. Just stay away from the blow and meth okay?

Well, now that it's past....think about what happened right before you had the attack. Did you argue with someone, break up, do badly on a test? Something always happens to bring it on. You have to figure out what it was and learn not to freak over it again. Everyone has bad things happen to them. But not everyone reacts badly to it.
