They don't ALL release oxygen 24hrs a day guys! Oxygen is released during the process of photosynthesis. Photosynthesis requires sunlight. Is it bright and sunny in the middle of the night?!
That was a response to the previous answerers... I am sorry, I don't know the answer to your question! Perhaps it could relate to the photosynthetic pathway of the plant, eg C4 or CAM rather than just C3? That's just a random guess though. Good luck...

everybody please realize that oxygen is released (or breathed out or exhaled if you called it so) only during DAYTIME. due to photosynthesis. it needs light (as well as some other factors, like not too hot/cold temperature)

it is perfect nonsense if Zwibble or others think photosynthesis goes on 24h/day. nope. only at daytime. However, any green plant or tree or algae can do it if you place it under sufficiently strong artificial light. not only pipal, neem, all the others too, but only when it has light. the kind of the tree has absolutely nothing to do with it

but normally if it is dark at night, plants and trees actually consume oxygen
