i want to go to thiland next year for a holiday, were is the best place to go with the best beach?

The best overall beaches are in Krabbi. You can fly there from BKK. Its also a good place to go on day excursions to places like Phi Phi Island and The James Bond Island. Its also just an hour away from Phuket. You can go on day excursions to places like Hong Island where the water is so clear that you can see all kinds of beautiful colorful fish swimming around you. There's wonderful Limestone rocks jutting out of the water in wierd shapes.

If you go to Railay beach just follow all the other tourists into a path that leads through a cave then go to another more spectacular beach. Many of the sandy white beaches are surrounded by spectacular volcanic mountains and caves. It makes for both great sightseeing and relaxation.

There is so much to do in Thailand. If you are already going there, you should do a trip first to Bangkok, then to the north for one day at Chiang Rai, then at least 2 days in Chiag Mai, then fly to the Islands. Either fly to Phuket or Koi Samui. From each of these islands you can do day excursions to Ko Phi Phi and to the James Bond Island, Coral Island, Monkey Island and many others. In Phuket, there is the Patong beach which is full of action, and on Ko Phygan, there are the Full Moon parties which are held once a month. Search on the web for more information

If you are looking for quiet place you should go to Tarutao National marine park , and you can stay in one island Called " Lipe " in soutern of thailand in the province call " Satun" I was there already some park of the island as beautic\ful as Maldives...:-)
