Emotions create chemical reactions in the body that can cause sensual
feelings. "Intense" emotions create spiritual power than can be felt as
stimulation to the body.
That's why I say most people who "think" they're Wiccans, Satanists, and
even Holy Rollers, debase the experience of Spirit to where they're just
getting a NUT!

~~~ Solomon R ,,,Lust is Firstly the desire of The Ego to satisfy selfish wants(which can vary with each individual) and Everybody wants to "feel good" or "be happy". It all comes down to what your Motivation is for The Act to be committed. ,,, People can get "addicted to emotions" only in the sense that they become conditioned to act a certain way in order to get what they desire,,, like a child whining into a temper tantrum with real tears,,, or a sex-addict/relationship-addict thriving on the "Love Emotion" is more about feeling "Secure" than addiction to an emotion,,, And indeed if the person is Actually Addicted to An Emotion then they are simply Delusional and pro therapy. ,,, Anger is typically Fear Based(high Insecurity),,,,Misery is usually Depression, again based in Fear.
People do get addicted to porn and sex. People that become addicted to food, often have emotional issues driving them to eat. Those whom are addicted to misery often live in a state of crisis, wanting sympathy from others. Love junkies crave the feeling of falling in love, but when the buzz wears off, they bail out, seeking a new "fix", in someone else. So in a nutshell, yes, people can become addicted to emotional states.
I think the whole concept of a "perfect" god was a bit premature. Any attempts to attribute all too imperfect human emotions to a perfect being seems ridiculous to me. It makes no sense. I mean, if you believe that your god is a perfect being that is incapable of error or wrong doing or any other failing, and your entire belief system is based on that, then imagine what would happen if you questioned it? The entire thing would come apart since there can be no room for error with a god who is perfect..
Yes, when I was younger I was "addicted" to anger (very abusive home life) and as a consequence not a very healthy person......I learned a better way.
NOTE: It wasn't a true addiction (as in heroin addiction) but it was the only way in which I had been taught to deal with life.
humans that are not grounded in the word of GOD follow earthly
rules and mannerisms. If you do something enough times it becomes habit and you react in a certain matter.Christians are not to follow the ways of the world. Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. It takes 21 days to kick an
addiction some say come to JESUS and see what He'll do for you, lust is a sin.Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee.
Yes, they can. If a person listens to angry or depressing music not occasionally but constantly, it becomes the norm and they become used to feeling angry, dissatisfied, sad or depressed. The same goes for tv, reading material and even being near certain people.
