If you are a legal mexican and have moral values, you will condemn these thieves and law-breakers. I am sick of being labeled as a "supporter" of these lawbreakers who think nothing of our laws, and not only cross over, but come only to breed their babies so they can then claim harrassment when being deported.
And don't give me the usual sob-story--where will they go? Do you know how Mexican government treats illegals from south of their border? Very harshly--including starving them in Mexican jails. What hypocricy for Mexican government to protest US enforcing their immigration laws!
I have written to several politicians about my views, and received nothing but praise from them. So do the right thing---speak out against these illegals, and support all action to deport them immediately, or make their life here hell. Supporting them in any way is extreme short-sightedness.

Sounds like you are making this issue a personal mission, and that's great. I say keep doing what you are doing, and perhaps you could petition your local news station to have a "round table discussion" that the public is also invited to, and everyone has a chance to share views and opinions. This happens often where I live, and is a great tool for getting the real issues heard. They often end up a huge issue for elections, and I think it's because the public has had so much exposure to the real story. Good Luck on your crusade!

Falling into the exact hole politicians want you to fall in, does not make you correct! If you are indeed a legal Mexican, I would say you need to speak and mingle with a different class. The people you communicate with now are giving you some lame information. Also, praise from a staffer is simply not note worthy.
While you may think your stance is honorable and justified you fail to understand one basic fact that is crucial with respect to illegal immigrants from Mexico. The fence will not work! The only evidence we have about the fence is: It's a good place to cut a hole!
The immigration problem is not due to Mexican nationals wanting to shop at Wal-Mart in down town Phoenix, it's the border and customs agents not being able to do their job. Sure the border is important, that goes without saying. But, employers who hire illegal citizens ought to be investigated and arrested or, at the very least, fined until their socks fall off.
People with accusations such as yours think all illegals work in the fields picking lettuce or make up the majority of criminals running the streets of the US. Here's the truth and you can bank on it: Many illegals work in the trades (blue collar), they take away tax paying jobs from legal citizens. How can they do this? People who insist that a billion dollar fence is a better way to spend, rather than put Border or Customs agencies at the level they need to be. We already have fences and they don't work!
Although I would hope a person such as yourself would be more tolorant I think you give Mexicans a bad name.

I'm sorry to say, that it's going to do more than give you a bad name. It's going to destroy our country. You would think with the way things are there, they would want to make a stand, and have a civil war, if necessary, and put there country right, instead of invading this one. They're strong enough in numbers. Who knows. When things get that bad here, maybe we'll invade Mexico to get away from it.

Just because you are legal, doesn't give you the right to dis on your own people. It doesn't matter if your a legal Mexican or not, when people see you, they see a Mexican and they don't care if you are legal or not.

Mexicans today can't come legally. They can't participate in the Green Card lottery , they are ALWAYS denied visas. If you live on $100 , you have no chioce but to move north.

There are 20,000,000 Mexicans in the United states legally, with millions more illegally. With out the Mexicans the economy would even crash even harder. Besides who will we get to clean the pools. I won't work for $5 an hour but they will.
