Naw, just change it to Cramer..Your dog won't know the difference..
I saw the apology..it was like they were allowing him to be some kind of hero...YUCK
A REAL apology, would be to put his money where his mouth is, and donate to UNCF, or the Harlem Dance Company..
I just don't buy the whole aplogy thing..just trying to save his career..

Well one thing Im gonna point out is that you chose that name for a reason. But the dog has lived with it for awhile and its probably used to it. And Michael Richards apologized for what he did. And even if he didnt Michael Richards said that stuff, Kramer didnt. Keep the dogs name.

No, Kramer is just the name of rather lovable character on Seinfeld.
Micheal Richards is the name of an actor who is a bigot.
Don't call your dog Michael Richards and you're fine.

No, don't confuse your dog.
Kramer is a nice name, I know a nice family named Kramer. And I agree with Jen P, Kramer is a fictional character (from Seinfeld), not a real person your dog was named after.

NO you shouldnt change his name because its probably too late now because if you start calling it something different he might not understand who you are talking to. So it doesnt matter what "kramer" did, should affect your opinion. If you like the name keep it. and also you have no choice but to keep the name. So dont even think about changing it. Good Luck.

I wouldn't change your dog's name over this. First off, your dog knows it's name and changing it would be confusing. Secondly, you named your dog after the character, not after the actor that played the character. What he did may have been wrong and reprehensible, but it's nothing that your dog should have to atone for.

Nope! Keep your pup named after the crazy funny character on the show. Don't connect it with the actor who plays him!
If you do need to change it, everytime you say the new name, offer you pup a treat. He'll learn the new name fast enough!

You should keep the same name but if you really need to change the name pick but make sure that it is simple. Don't expected he do to react to it at first. give her a treat while saying the new name and don't expect her to know that is her new name it could take a while too get used to the name.

Easy. Call her Lady Maddie for a few weeks and drop the Lady part occasionally then all together. We said JJ Charlie for five days and he came running to Charlie with no problems. Charlie was 4 years old then.
