My son is the same age and is cruising around furniture and will walk with help, but he hasn't done it on his own yet. He got a ride-on toy for his birthday with a handle on the back and he walks while pushing the car on his own. That seems to be helping, but if he lets go he gets scared everytime he realizes he isn't holding on to something and sits down. I am a firm believer that children will do things on their own when they're ready. Just keep encouraging him...if he's standing at a table, try and call him to you, hold his hand and try to walk with him next to you. Some babies start to walk as late as 18 months so there's no need to worry yet!

He'll walk when he's good and ready. The average time for kids to learn to walk is 13-15 months old. My daughter learned when she was 14 months.

make beneficial once you call specific issues which you carry the item next on your mouth so your toddler can study your lips and look on the item. constantly use a word you are trying to instruct: Wheres ball, whos have been given ball, does ____ have ball? the place's the ball? each and all of the at the same time as signifying the ball. Is she around different little young ones? this could help plenty in progression of talking. My son is a prior due bloomer and his cousin around the line is a pair months older and talks alot extra, he additionally has a bigger brother to earnings from extra certainly. keep in mind, do no longer communicate in 3+ word sentences to her if she would be able to't even extremely say one word. save it at her point.

my daughter is 20 month old and she still doesn't walk perfectly or is scared of, these kids do when they feel things are right for them if you force them too much they wouldn't do it at all ,so I'd say please don't push be patient he'll start walking on his own, my doctor said if she starts walking late she'll talk early which actually happened and they also say if they walk late they use more of their brains and pick up thing really quickly moreover they become quite observant and then they don't fall alto.

Both my girls started walking early (11 months). Every evening after dinner my hubby and I would sit on the floor about 3 feet apart facing each other. I would hold on to my daughter in front of me while she is in the standing position and my hubby would get her all excited and hold out his arms for her to come to him. Works all the time, then they get better at it with each day. But watch out, once they start motoring theres no stopping them lol.

Push along toys, and holding his hands whilst walking him along the room.
Don't worry though, it is common for children this age to have not taken their first steps. It will happen in the next few months. Don't stress about this.

things like rolling, sitting, crawling, pulling up are fundamental underpinnings of walking. if the child cannot do all those things well and strongly, then they will not be able to walk. rushing walking might weaken development of those other things, or possibly those other things are not in place for him to walk. if he is not pulling up,
see a movement therapist (laban movement or some form of developmental movement therapist - ala bonnie bainbridge cohen)
can help you see where he's losing it on the way to walking.
remember walking is a complex combination of skills, strength and previous development. it doesn't magically appear.
