There are many sites where you can learn how to play. Also many sites where you can play online. I play at Ultimatebet.com, and I like that site - it's free.

As for relative hand strength, got to www.ihpoker.com, click "how to play" over on the right hand side, then "hand rankings" up near the top. This has a good explanation with illustrations.

Good luck.

Just look up poker on the net. It's everywhere. I always get confused in the middle around the flush and straight.

However, bring your money and come on over. I'm always up for a game.

Start by learning the basics. There's a lot of great material here: http://www.church-of-texas-holdem.com/texas-holdem-for-beginners.html

You must commit percentages and hand rankings to memory. It's a pain, but once done you'll never look back.
