Yes because when your life does end, you will understand the meaning of it when you meet your Maker.(So its the other way round really)

The meaning of life may well be different for different people. It is unlikely that the world would end just because i finally figured out what I needed to do to make myself happy.

You should know the meaning of life as your passing by it. There is no use in knowing right before your death. Your entire life should be a personal quest to find the meaning of life. My opinion, that is why you are here for!

It would depend on the answer that we found out.... if it was as simple as just to reproduce which alot of scientist think then its business as usual, but if its something that would do your head in like..... when we die aliens steal our bodies to eat it (thats just made up by the way... just incase you take me literally) then it might change the way we look at life but not end it... hope that helps

And since it will take forever, the best we can do is take the next step along the path to all enlightenment.

if by some freak happening we did find out the meaning of life without having to die to learn it, no lift as we know it would not end... Personally i think the meaning of our lives is to save our planet or at least leave it and move to another... and then not trash that one up lol.... meh, just my opinion XD...
Most of us has a meaning of life just to die of skin cancer, thanks to our parents and such for giving us this problem of global warming =) i should expect that suicide becoems more common in the next 100 years... a good thing probably... less people means less waste crap, so the world can sort itself out a bit lol.... i dunno... but yea... the meaning of life would be helpful. Cant wait for the next "jesus" to come to earth, he's goin to FREAK at what has happened to it since his last visit!

No it wouldn't...because we know what the is the reason behind our life- the meaning of life...
The meaning or purpose of life-existence.......

This is the main, exact reason why we were created by God the All Mighty, to worship and follow Him. Does God need us? No, all He wants us is to obey Him, and worship Him as He should be worshipped, as He is the only One worty of worship, and we should do. Why should weworship Him? He create us and gave us everything we can ever ask or and need. So the least we can do is be greatful to Him, everytime, because he is the All Mighty, that has given us so much. He is nothing like us:
1 Say (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)): "He is Allah, (the) One.
2 "Allah-us-Samad (The Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He neither eats nor drinks).
3 "He begets not, nor was He begotten;
4 "And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him."
[Surah al-Ikhlas 112:1-4]
He puts us in bad situations to see how we do, and to obey him, in every command, not altering any, or leaving any, but accepting it all. (this continues to the exist of God)
You may ask, does God the All Mighty even exist?

Some people think they already know it.I tend to think that it's all about doing your best all the time & having some children to leave behind when you've gone.So we DO know the meaning of it already,you see!

The meaning of life is to glorify God. Since we know that, and the world hasn't ended yet, I guess the answer is no.
