Charlotte's Web- Yes I know its a kids book, but its one that got me hooked on reading. I also read it to my 3rd grade class and they love it. Also The Catcher in the Rye- the discontent he feels with the world is something that I think we can all empathize with, and finally I'd have to say To Kill a Mockingbird.
