this is a very wierd statement....
scientist do not strugle with religion... they do their science.
I do not understand your point.... science is not interested in religion at all.... it is all about understanding the place where we live....
religion, ... well it is up to you to decide what role it plays in your life. '

No, theists do not realize this, because it isn't actually true.
As Francis Collins, the head of the human genome project that recently completed the most significant scientific project in the history of medicine bar none has pointed out, about forty percent of scientists are believers even today.
Go back a ways, and you'll find largely only believers among the great scientists - Newton, Gregor Mendel, Galileo, Copernicus, Kepler.... all religious.
And many of the people you may be assuming to be atheists were never anything of the sort, even if they were not explicitly religious either. Stephen Hawking, the great cosmologist, apparently gets angry when people suggest he's an atheist. And Einstein, something of a cross between a deist and pantheist, famously said that, "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."
Given that all these people of divergent (but non-atheist) views have decided to better humanity through their efforts, perhaps it is you would should adapt a measure of humility. Perhaps you, along with the rest of us, should be grateful that there are those who do not share your viewpoint, and yet who nonetheless want to better your life for you.

nicely it extremely is been shown in study that bigger intelligence correlates to atheism. it extremely is a actuality. Scientists additionally learn certainty, so do no longer only have self belief what they are advised. while a scientist comes up with a clean thought, their thought is peer reviewed, meaning countless different scientists verify their paintings. As for yet another posters remark on Copernicus, possibly he substitute into Catholic (so substitute into Adolf Hitler by utilising the way), yet he substitute into threatened with loss of life by utilising the church for saying that the Earth orbits the sunlight. And he grew to become out to be precise and the church substitute into incorrect. This has occurred many circumstances the place the church has have been given indignant interior the 2d, yet in a protracted time has admitted the scientists have been precise. maximum non secular human beings now could totally agree that the international orbits the sunlight. only some issues to think of approximately :)

1. Not all scientists are atheists.
2. The world does not condemn atheists, unless you are talking about some place like Afghanistan.
3. Scientists are paid to do what they do.
4. Competition between companies and governments drives scientific innovation (think of the space race between the USSR and the USA).

Good question, I often wonder how religious fundies feel comfortable using a microwave ...or nuclear power or whatever... if they really think that scientists are so clueless about the real world around them. If carbon dating is all wrong, couldn't their ideas about nuclear energy also be way off? Maybe they could all blow up tomorrow?

You took a survey?
There are multitudinous throngs of scientists who accept the idea of God. Please note:
A report, some years ago, in the New York Journal-American:
“Eight of the nation’s outstanding men of science were asked to give their views on this question:
Do scientists believe in God ?
One of the eight, Wernher von Braun:
“Anything as well ordered and perfectly created as our earth and universe must have a Maker, a master designer. Anything so orderly, so perfect, so precisely balanced, so majestic as this creation …..can only be the product of a Divine Idea.
There must be a Maker; there can be no other way.”
Another of the eight, Dr. William Swann, an authority on cosmic radiation:
“Viewing the universe as a whole, I cannot escape the fact that it is of intelligent design. The universe shows the same kind of efficiency of planning ….as an engineer strives to achieve, in his smaller undertakings.”
Dr. Warren Weaver, mathematician:
“Every new discovery of science is a further revelation of the order that God has built into His universe.”
The report concluded:
“From these answers, one basic concept shows up clearly:
Some Divine Power, beyond control of man, has shaped the universe.”

Why does it bother scientist ( mostly atheist ) that we are concerned for their souls?
And you are wrong.......we don't think ANYONE deserves to go to hell. We would like to see anyone that wants to go to Heaven make it there.
Are you a Christian, I hope?....or an atheist?
You have a good Thanksgiving.....
