Who said we get lonely. As a matter of fact I do not know a Christian that does get lonely, because we always have the Lord with us.

Christians get lonely because they are not 'seeking' nor praying to God, they sometimes don't feel the presence and have to look for it.

Maybe they physically get lonely. I know that is bound to happen. Because being human, of course most want a mate. But God fufills all our needs according to his riches in glory!

Romans 8:28
[ More Than Conquerors ] And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

--So God does fill us with His Spirit- and we do receive His joy and peace- and it is when we strive to Know Him more, and seek Him more that we are filled with this. But of course the phyiscal lonliness is bound to happen. Maybe someone wants someone else to talk to- another christian to fellowship with- that is why it is important to find a good bible teaching church- for fellowship and spiritual food. Even a bible study!

If we were perfect, we would understand this and never be lonely. But we are still humans. As such we do not have perfect faith, so we still do get lonely just like everyone else.

Sometimes we may feel as if the spirit has left us, this is the time where we still need to sacrifice and submit, more than when we do feel the spirit of God with us. Some feel abandoned and turn away.

The bible says "it is not good for man to be alone." It's in Genesis chapter 1 and because of this God mad Adam a woman whom he named Eve.

God knew that because of our nature we would get lonely for companionship.

I am never spiritually alone, nor do I feel it.
God has promised to never leave me nor forsake me.
