you can either purchase a printer to print photos. you'll need some photo paper as well. or you can go to the local photo developer and they can do it as well. or even find one of those kodak booths where you can put in your memory card and print from there. you can also go to kodakgallery.com and order some prints from there.

NOW, you can take picture! But I suggest to get a card reader so you can easily put the pictures into your PC for viewing. If you want to print them out, since you are a newbie, bring the memory card to places like Walgreen or CVS to have them printed. I like stores that has Fuji printing machine. They print better pictures.
THEN, go to the bookstore or library and find some basic photography book. Learn about aperture and compositions. Since you can practice whenever you want, you will be a good photographer in no time.

I went down the photo printer route but glossy paper and ink are expensive especially if photo isn't as good as you thought it was so I tried shops where you take your card in. OK but quality is no better than I can for myself. Then I discovered that the old photo processing shops are now on the net you e-mail you chosen shots and 2 days later you get back professionally processed copies and its not expensive. Some will even store all your photos so you should never lose them say if you hard drive breaks and you haven't kept a seperate copy

start taking pictures!! The pictures you take are stored on your cameras 'hard drive.' All you need to put those pictures on your computer and be able to save on your computer and send to friends is a USB cord. You can print via color printer after you have down loaded.

There are services on line where you can upload the pictures you take into albums with a web address specifically for you and friends to view.
They/You are able to choose to print on specialty items if you want or select the pictures you want to be mailed to you.
I'm guessing you are familiar with this service and have used them in the past.
Here are a few:
http://www.photosite.com
http://www.shutterfly.com
http://www.smugmug.com
Hope this helps or gives you something to think about

Well, you need a computer and a color printer.
The camera should have come with a USB cable and the software to load on the computer. Just read the instructions and have fun.

ummmm, did it come with a memory card? If you plan on printing pictures yourself, you'll need to get yourself a decent photo printer. If you plan on printing them at a photoshop, all you need to take is your memory card. They can instruct on what to do then.
