one of the three ways in which people can gain control over others in a society by advocating a set of laws rules and mores which must be followed in order for the society to thrive. in case these laws rules and mores are broken then the Ceremonies and Rituals which are needed to be performed to atone for the offense will be carried out by the Religion's leaders.

an excuse for people to feel as though they belong to something. If I go to church on Sunday Oh I will be saved and God will love and forgive me, because I do good deeds. Organized Religion is a mockery to what Christ was trying to teach. Accept Jesus as your Savior.
