That can not be answered in the way you have put it. But you can buy standard baths, and now they do a square bath that takes up the same or less space than a shower so you see it is up to you. Have a look around some showrooms to get an idea of what you want then try and plan your bathroom on what you have seen, also there is a foldaway loo and fold down washbasin. Can you see now how difficult your question is. Hope this helps and good luck.

That depends on the plumbing codes in your state for a water closets. Bathrooms must meet minimum size requirments to qualify as bathrooms. Technically it's your house and you can do whatever the hell you want. However, if it is not the correct size when you go to sell the house and the person orders a property inspector he/she will find that this bathroom dosen't meet min specs. You might get into an issue as to who built it and why. You also have aesthetics to deal with. You don't want to put a bathroom in a kitchen for example.

Well, my bathroom is 8 ft by 4ft 6in.
I have a corner bath with a shower over it, plus a basin and wc.
It is a bit small but we manage. Mind you, a corner bath is ok for bathing children but an adult can't have a good long stretch in one.
If I were doing it again then I'd consider one of those Japanese baths which are short but very deep, so that you can sit and soak right up to your chin

If the door opens out and you use a 6' bath, toilet and basin, with a bit of room to move, I would say 6' x 6' is about the limit? 6' x5' would be pushing the limit.

Bath along back, WC facing WHB, both on 1300 walls.
Would suit small person.

I wouldn't go anything below a 10'X10' or 100sf and even this may be a little small.
