All liquors can give you hangovers. All that means is your dehydrated. If you drink water in between your drinks (does not have to be every other drink) you will NOT get a hangover in the morning.

Excluding beer and wine, a general rule of thumb is to drink alcohol in it's purest form. Avoid liquors that add sugar and other tasteful ingredients.

Some people say to only drink the "clear stuff" Examples of clear stuff would be Vodka and Gin.

Naturally this applies to the mix used as well. Avoid sugary cola's and the like. Try a vodka or gin tonic using diet tonic.

Many hardcore drinkers will only drink Vodka martini's. Basically pure vodka (or gin) with only the slightest pinch of vermouth.

This will also cut down on the calories !

I also advise drinking plenty of water. Dehydration will cause you to feel poorly in the morning. Drink a big glass of water before going to bed.

Yep - sugar is the enemy. Makes the dehydration worse.

If you like the taste of liquor, mix it with only water or use as much ice that will fit in a glass and sip it on the rocks. It really does help avoid those unpleasant mornings. Plus, your friends will think you're hard core drinking the straight stuff.

They all will, so drink lots of water or Gatorade before going to bed. You can also take a vitamin B and an Advil. The tannins in red wine give some people headaches, and some people seem to react badly to gin (I've heard it might be an allergy to juniper), so those would be things to stay away from.

Just don't drink too fast. Pace yourself. Also, try to stick with the same liquor all night. Don't drink a bunch of different types of drinks. This helps me a lot.

There is a devise out there that vaporizes alcohol so you don't get all the conigers of drinking it, I don't remember the name but they claim no hangovers. Run a search. It is the AWOL from engadget.com.
