The MSVCRT10.dll might not be from Adobe Photoshop. A lot of the Microsoft specific files start with MS, it's possible that the .dll was a shared file with one of your other programs and you may have deleted it accidentally when you uninstalled one or more old programs.

It could be possible that your install disk is damaged and that .dll is the one effected, but usually you'll get a notice of file damage or "not a valid .dll" or something similar, instead of a file not found.

Another possibility is that the .dll was deleted as part of a Windows security update. In which case you don't want it on you computer anyways. I doubt it though since everyone that has the same version of Adobe Photo shop would have been writing in.

There's no guaranty, but if it happens to be a Microsoft .dll you might have to reinstall Windows to get that missing .dll back. I know its a pain in the a** to try and back up and reinstall everything for something that might not work. It sometimes works when I run across a similar problem with other games and programs.

It was probably a file that was with another program that you deleted recently, or even a while back. Typicaly it will tell you where the file SHOULD be.

I had this error, dont know if it was the same dll or not, but what I did was traced to where the file should have been, and created it. made a folder, then changed the folder in the properties to the .dll file needed. Havent had a problem yet as it was only a fix point and not used for the program

You may hae a conflict in some other software but dont discount the fact that your copy of Photoshop just might be corrupt.
Be sure to defrag your system and run disk clean. But you may just have a bad copy.
Dependent on how old your processor is, it may be a version of PS you cant use. Try talking a friend into installing your copy of PS (good luck with that) and see if it does ok .
After all of that you just might have to clean your system and start over (sorry) . Comp USA and other PC vendors will do it for a small fee (worth it). All that can really ruin a day cant it?
