Why is there evil and suffering in the world?
The question implies that if a good God exists, then evil shouldn't because God, being all powerful, should stop it.
We need to ask and answer two questions. First, what is evil? It is that which is against God. It is anything morally bad or wrong. It is injurious, depraved, wicked. Some acceptable examples might be murder, rape, stealing, lying, and cheating. Second, if we want God to stop evil, do we want Him to stop all evil, or just some of it? In other words, if just some of it, then why? If He were to stop only part of the evil, then we would still be asking the question, "Why is there evil in the world?"
Let's suppose that someone was about to commit murder. God would have to stop him, maybe whisper in his ear, or if that didn't work, do something a little more drastic, like have something fall on him, or stop his heart, or make his hands suddenly fall off. Anyway, God would have to do something.
What if somebody wanted to steal? God would have to stop him too, right? Undoubtedly, God's imagination would permit a more practical method than I have suggested, but the end results would be the same.
What about lying? If someone were to tell a lie, then to be consistent wouldn't you want God right there to stop that person from lying? After all, He couldn't let any evil occur, could He?
Let's take it a step further. Suppose someone thought something evil. Then, of course, God would have to step in and prevent him from thinking anything bad at all, right? The end result would be that God could not allow anyone to think freely. Since everyone thinks, and no one thinks only pure thoughts, God would be pretty busy, and we wouldn't be able to think. Anyway, at what point do we stop - at the murder level, stealing level, lying level, or thinking level? As your question implies, if you want God to stop evil, you would have to be consistent and want Him to do it everywhere all the time, not just pick and choose. It wouldn't work.
Evil is in this world partly because we give it its place but ultimately because God, in His sovereignty, permits it and keeps it under His control.
Then you might say, "Couldn't He just make us perfect and that way we wouldn't sin?" He already did that. He made a perfect angel, Satan, but he sinned. He made a perfect man, Adam, and he sinned. He made a perfect woman, Eve, and she sinned. God knows what He is doing. He made us the way we are for a purpose. We don't fully understand that purpose, but He does.
God is sovereign; He has the right to do as He wishes. He has the right to permit evil for accomplishing His ultimate will. How can He do that? Simple, look at the Cross. It was by evil means that men lied and crucified Jesus. Yet God in His infinite wisdom used this evil for good. It was on the Cross that Jesus bore our sins in His body (1 Peter. 2:24) and it is because of the Cross that we can have forgiveness of sins.
Consider the biblical example of Joseph in the Old Testament. He was sold into slavery by his brothers. Though they meant it for evil, God meant it for good (Gen. 50:20). God is so great that nothing happens without His permission, and in that permission His ultimate plan unfolds. In His plan He is able to use for good what man intends for evil. God is in control.

First God did not put people her to fulfill a purpose, except for one. To Praise and Worship him.
Second, murderers are men or women who commit the sin of murder and they are doing their own thing for their own sinful reasons, God has nothing to do with it.
You are right God is Almighty and he does know everything.
Third, there is no free will. You are either a Child of God and in his will and do according to His will. or You are of the Devil and under his will.
God doesn't make you a murder, you do. It's your choice.
Hell makes perfect sense. What if someone in your family was murdered and they murderer was never brought to justice ever, wouldn't you want him to pay for his crime of taking your love one's life, sure you would, and God will do that.
God is God of Love, mercy and grace yes. But he is also a Just God. and He hates sin and will destroy sin. He will grind those who commit sin to dust.

Free will as you said is a gift and as such to be used carefully. However, since we have the intelligence to use our free will, we should also use that intelligence to make the moral choice. There comes a time when the law of humans must stand aside to God's moral law. People don't understand that evil comes to us in a beautiful and easy open package. The devil does not appear to us with horns, tail and pitchfork, but comes to us in a way that appeals to us. In other words we understand that a bottle of poison is dangerous and harmful to us because of the package, Skull and Crossbones, warns us of danger. So we stay away! But if the same poison comes in a package of say like Gerber baby food we perceive it to be harmless and indulge in it. It's only later that we find out how bad and evil it was for us. The deceiver appears to us in ways we cannot identify it's evil.
And hell does it exist..... it is living for an eternity without being able to love God!

The reason you are here is to know, love, and serve God regardless of the gifts you have or the lack there of, you are absolutely here for a reason for He created you out of love. Free will does not mean anyone can do whatever they want, that would be license. Free will is to do what you ought to do.
They who desire to be rid of eternal punishment ought to abstain from arguing against God, and rather, while yet there is opportunity, obey the divine commands. Then what a fond fancy is it to suppose that eternal punishment means long continued punishment, while eternal life means life without end, since Christ in the very same passage spoke of both in similar terms in one and the same sentence, 'These shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into life eternal!' If both destinies are "eternal," then we must either understand both as long-continued but at last terminating, or both as endless. For they are correlative,--on the one hand, punishment eternal, on the other hand, life eternal. And to say in one and the same sense, life eternal shall be endless, punishment eternal shall come to an end, is the height of absurdity. Wherefore, as the eternal life of the saints shall be endless, so too the eternal punishment of those who are doomed to it shall have no end.

What you ask is understandable, because you wonder how can our God be a God of love and justice, and still torture forever his imperfect creation? The truth is, he doesn't.
The Bible teaches that hell is where all the dead are buried. It is only the grave, called Sheol in Hebrew and Hades in Greek. Jesus himself was in hell for three days, which stands to reason since he physically died and was entombed. The tomb became his grave or hell. God promises us in his Word that the righteous and the unrighteous will be resurrected from hell (hades, sheol) and these ones will be given a second chance to prove their loyalty to God and his Kingdom rule, of which his Son Jesus now reigns as King.
Another promise God gives us is that death and hell will soon be gone forever.
( Revelation 20:13-14)
Yes, your question is one of many that people ask, and the Bible gives the right answers.

You forget that the Fall of Man is responsible for all that has happened since. In the beginning, God made everything "good." Since then, it is wrought with decay and death.
We cannot blame God for what man has done. God wants everyone to choose to be with Him for eternity, and has provided the one way for you to be with Him. But, just as there was a choice to make in the Garden before the Fall, there is a choice to make on where you spend eternity. That choice is Heaven or Hell. Jesus Himself spoke of Hell 16 times, so it must exist.
But, if you do go to Hell on your own volition, whether by personal choice, or through failure to act, you must walk over Christ's dead body to get there.

You are confused. Your question assumes God's purpose for someone who murders was murder. How do you know that? Perhaps the person used their free will to sin, which is not a purpose of God. I can understand your reason for thinking this way. In today's society people seem to lack one thing. That thing is personal responsibility.
Hell was originally created for those angels who rebelled against God. So it would seem to have a purpose after all. OF course those who reject God will also be there.

Biblically or in the Christian perspective...
God is a holy, righteous & just God
God created hell for Satan (who wanted to be God HImself) & his cohorts (demons, fallen angels who rebelled against God)
if you believe in God & have learned a few things about how God works...then you COULD understand that ALL things have a purpose...most of all the most prolific Christian evangelists were (before they got to know God) murderers, slave traders, users/abusers/liers, the worst of sinners. (IF you do not believe in God or unsure if there is a God, you will probably not get it--or worse you do not want to get it).
God does not punish us for what we did, but for He is a righteous & a just God, in this age He needs to judge humans for rejecting His grace & mercy. The greatest mistake that modern day humans can make is to be proud & not acknowledge that there is in fact a Creator, an Intelligent Designer & that Creator have done everything for humans to come back to His Maker...not by force by graciously giving them the freewill to. (All this becomes apparent when you understand that we live in a fallen world)
All these, i know, are hard to grasp, especially without understanding that Christ suffered & died for us--& is the only Way back to God.
It is a little hard to explain all this briefly but visit my 360 page or email me, if you need more...

Everything is for a reason and purpose; as far as people are concerned, we need to pray and ask God to show us what he has planned for each of us.
Remember, sin was not part of the plan;Adam and Eve kinda flushed the origanal plan or at least part of it down the toilet when the sinned.
People are in control of what they do and chose to do right or wrong, and murderers and others like chose to do wrong.

spectacular question. the sole unforgiveable sin is quenching the Holy Spirit. which ability denying Jesus as your Lord and Savior and that He died for you. once you are trying this, it ability that His dying became in ineffective and he's not the atonement for our non secular sins. hence, God sees sin, and not His Son the appropriate sacrifice; so the eternal flames is the place that one might flow after judgment. God hates sin & abhors it. there is not any sin that God can not forgive. There are non secular Christians previous & recent who've accomplished terrible abominable acts and have got here upon peace and shelter in the grace and love of God. and somewhat some circumstances we choose others and if we had our way, might by no ability instruct love or popularity to a pair. yet thank God that he's in value and judges particularly & justly! Pointing hands at murderers, adulterers, liars...etc is a trick of the enemy to sentence us and make us lose wish. yet Jesus died to make amends for all that. advantages!
