Why don't you be the bigger person here? You have to remember that the baby shower is for both, your cousin and her unborn child. If you feel you WANT to go----Go---if not don't!

What I'm wondering is, how did she forget to invite you to a party for your aunt, but sent you an invite to her baby shower. Do you think that she may have invited you for the gift. I would show my face, but make plans to not stay long. That way your family doesn't think that your harboring any ill feelings. See what happens.

No, you need to honor your promise to your grandmother and go. But childish differences aside and attend the baby shower. You can be the bigger person and not sink to her level.
