I eat both the apple and the caramel together, just for clarification; but sometimes, especially for younger children, it's hard for them to get to both the carmel and the apple at the same time. Some kids that I used to watch would eat the carmel first and then the apple...I've never yet witnessed anybody just eating the caramel and leaving the apple...

Not me, I eat caramel and the apple together. The only reason I eat caramael apples is when I want candy and then somethingt healthy.

Sometimes the apples are too tart--especially after the sweet caramel.

I prefere the apple w/ caremal not the other way around(i.e. caremal w/apple)eating the caremal with the apple is why it tastes so good.
although one time i had a friend who just ate the apple! Lol!(she was really rich and hadn't had a caremal apple before)

What a waste of a perfectly good apple! I eat both & enjoy them together.
