Lost a job when someone told my boss they heard I was an Atheist and one woman told me that people like me should be lined up against a wall and shot. Aren't we lucky they aren't allowed to kill us anymore.

I'm not an Atheist but I've had plenty of insults/threats thrown my way for:
Being Pagan
Not worshiping a certain God
Defending Athiests, Muslims, Wiccans...
Defending Free Speech and Freedom of Religion
Defending Gay/Lesbian Marriage
Being Pro-Choice

If being told I will burn in hell for eternity is a threat, then yes.

I think the fact that it won't happen is immaterial - the person making the threat clearly does believe it will happen.

Well sort of. I hear that I am going to hell all the time. Isn't much of a threat since I think it is funny because I know it isn't true, but that is the spirit of it.

Only via e-mail. Where I live the Christians are very meek and subdued. Their creed has been systematically ground into submission.

Yes. MANY times I've been told i'm going to a hell that I don't beleive exists.

And on 2 separate occasions. A muslim told me that I should convert to Islam or "else".
(neither one of them said what "else" meant but they hinted that i will be killed.)
