I have medium length blonde hair (it goes a little past my shoulders) and i also have long bangs. (i got it from nicole richie lol) Well, my friend Cassidy has longer hair than me but, she has the cutest short bangs ever! I have always wanted bangs that flip to the side. I think that I will look so much better with them. The problem is my mom wont let me do it. She thinks that it will turn out bad. So, i told her that it is just hair and that I can just grow it back if I dont like it. Also, it was my decision so if it turns out bad, I cant complain cuz it was my decision. How do I tell her to just let me try it?? (ps I just turned 15 two weeks ago)

Show her some solutions (such as headbands or clips) that you can use if your hair does turn out bad, and also show her some slight alternatives to what you want, and ask her which one she prefers. Your mom will like it if she can decide.

In a matter like this, I'd "just do it." Go ahead and get it cut the way you want to. As you say -- if you don't like it, it'll grow back.
(Note: Just because your bf's bangs flip doesn't mean yours will flip, too; or not the way you'd prefer. But I hope it turns out the way you want it to.)

Tell her it's just hair, it will grow if it turns out bad. That there are worse things you could be doing like drinking, drugs, sex, etc... but do it gently, parents are touchy about those subjects for some reason...

Gently explain to ur mom.Don't lose ur temper.Tell her u're gonna just try it out & if it doesn't work out,u won't complain,it's hair,na,it'll grow back.U're not gonna do somethng like colour ur hair blue or anythng.LOL.All the best.

thats real crappy bout your bf i may be real advantageous and tell him you prefer him to stay on your grade yet nonetheless say that this is his determination and your happy the two way even in the experience that your no longer and your hair, i say curl it and pull up the front area with a clip or pins. wish i helped:)

jkust tell it it's your hair and if she thinks it come out bad and you dont and you like it leave it it is your hair and it will grow back
