How can I sweeten up my corn bread?

I'm using a standard boxed mix, but I want to sweeten it up a bit. Any suggestions?

Add a tbsp. of sugar or honey

I think boxed is too sweet already but add just a little sugar to the mix. White sugar is fine.

1 1/2 tsp. of sugar added to the batter!
