islam is a religion of peace...there are over 1 bilion of us..out of those there are only a few thousand crazy people who have taken the koran completely out of context and commit these evil deeds..if these terrorists think they are going to paradise..they are even more screwed than i thought...a good example is the 9/11 hijackers..ther were seen at brothels and drinking alcohol..both forbidden is islam...plus they murdered so many people...if islam did teach this evil why havent i taken a bommb and killed people....these people are evil and have to be locked up and never released..

Did you know that the 19 hijackers were called the 19 knights, heroes by some of those good imams! It is because these kind of double messages we see and hear all the time. Of course the majority of the Muslims are peaceful, but the problem is that not too many of those good peaceful Muslims speak out against these kind of actions, until it is too late.

Have you heard of a Muslims who called upon all Muslims to kill at least one American? not that Muslims will do it, I am sure they will not, but it gives you an idea how some people use religion, or misinterpret it to get their goals done! don't you think so!

As for the Not so good Muslims, the 19 hijackers. I learned that if a person took on jihad, no matter how many times they sinned in the past, they are all forgiven, and these men would go directly to heaven, and as an extra reward, they will be able to bring with them 4 other people, even if those people did not do the jihad! is that true?!

I do understand that. I know some wonderful Muslims in "my real life." The west has their share of "crazy christians" too. Some have blown up abortion clinics and murdered in the name of their god.

All crazies shouldn't be allowed to hurt people. The problem that Islam has is right now most of the people blowing things up also happened to be Muslim and it's very hard for the majority of peaceful Muslims to get a good image because of that :(

More than a thousand people are sympathetic to the methods of the terrorists, especially the ones in Israel. If you are unaware of that, then you must have been born in the United States.

Look at statements of even many Muslims who use this site -- Bush and Israel are the real terrorists!

Instead of looking at what is happening with people from your own religion, so many people just point their fingers and say, "no, no you are the bad guys, what we do is OK."

I do, and so do many others but not enough-True Islamic peoples should be angered by the appropriation of their "name" by these people and what it has done to their reputation as a people and a belief. That I feel is part of the cure- education by those who know! We are all here in a school of spirit- to grow as we individually see fit toward our own enlightenment- as long as we cause no harm or malaise to others- most religions actually teach that-why wouldn't Islam?

The unfortunate thing is too many people choose to hate what they don't understand. Just like the muslim clerics who had just left a peace conference that were arrested a couple days ago at the airport because someone reported "suspicious" activity after seeing them kneel and pray in the airport. Astigfirullah!

Who cares? If it isn't Christianity, or the "TRINITY!!!" Its not real !!! God is not about DEATH, nor is He about treating wives, as if they should be masked and not worth seeing!! The God I know would never tell His people to go out and MASS DESTRUCT another man's country!! Or Kill INNOCENT, women men, and children!!! MY GOD, is a LOVING, GOD!!! He's all about LOVE, not HATE, not killing, not war, not, mistreating your wives... Love your wives as you love yourselves!! They can walk around with their heads uncovered, but thier wives, have to be burried underneath all of this clothing, and if another man rapes her, she has to be murdered, because it was her fault???? There is something SERIOUSLY WRONG, with those religions, and there countrymen, period!!! ONE RELIGION, and its not there's!!!!! Sorry!!! The father , the son, and the holy spirit, He's all called, "THE TRINITY!!!!" The ALPHA, and the OMEGA!!!!!

Yes, I am aware, and know that the vast majority of muslims are peace-loving, though they are anguered by several injustices in the world. The problem is that the extremists command the attention of the world and they are not openly criticized by moderate muslims.

Yes, I tottally agree with you!
I think that people should understand the difference in those absolutely opposite phenomenons. I personally belong to Islam and I it really hurts me when people think that it is somehow connected to terrorism or extremeism...
