how do you make the glaze?

I usually just follow the directions on the wrapper - the nice thing about ham is that the spiral ones are pre-cooked, so all you are really doing is heating it up. I usually put about 6 pineapple rings all over the turkey, place a cherry in the middle of each ring and then secure the cherries with toothpicks. For a simple glaze, just use equal parts (about 1/4 cup) brown sugar, honey and pineapple juice (left over from the can). Place the ingredients in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring often until the brown sugar dissolves. Then place the glaze over the ham during the last half hour of cooking.

I always take the juice form the pinapple, and a little cherry juice and heat it on the stove with some brown sugar(maybe about 1/2 cup or so) Bring to a slow boil so it will thicken, let cool slightly. You can put some of the fruit on the ham and attach with toothpicks or cloves for a decorative look. Then pour glaze over the whole thing. YUM

I put the ham in a roaster pan with pinapple rings on top (tooth pick to hold them) and put cherries in the center of the rings. Since my family likes the pineapple and cherries, I normally have 2 layers of them. then put the ham in the oven to warm it.. :)

For the glaze, while the ham is in the oven, I pull it out 2-3 times and dip some of the pineapple juices from the pan and pour it over the top.

Just place the ham in a large pot and dollop the whole can of crushed pineapple and either fresh or jarred cherries. I like to put a cup of brown sugar on top of the ham too. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 until hot on the inside of ham. It depends on weight of ham.
