You can wear what ever you ant to,, and plan all kinds of things,, but i can tell you right now it is not going to matter,, cause there is only one thing that is going to be on his mind, the first day he is home,,, NAKED WIFE, NO KIDS around, and a BIG JUICY STEAK,,,, at least that was the only thing i thought about my first day back.

Well plan the day with something you know he would absolutely adore! After all, Iraq is some hard work lol. So think of his favorite things, what he cant do in Iraq which I am sure there are many possibilites for it. For your clothing, pick out an outfit that he has complimented on and something that he really would love to see you in. No one knows your guy better then you, so just go by some common sense factors, I'm sure you and him will have a good time together no matter what.

Wear something nice, but not too over the top. Also keep in mind he has been traveling for the past 19 hours. He will be starving and sleep deprived. Feed him a good home cooked meal and just relax with him. Let him drive the tempo of those first couple of days.
After that if you want to plan something do it, but make sure it is not overwhelming with social obligations. Those can be stressful for him.

And you just need some alone time, you and him together. If you want a fancy dinner our that would be great as he has missed our good American food.
Believe me, when I say he justs want you. Nothing special nothing more. These guys have been in Hell for a Year and they just need the security and love of there families. That is all they thing about over there, is getting home and there wives, children and parents.
