Red, white and blue sounds partiotic but I've seen it done and it is pretty with the clear lights....I have also seen an all red decorations ( red bows, red ornaments, clear lights...and all blue with a little white mixed in.) I also think a theme is cool...like all ornaments with movie , Barbie or Disney themes....there will probaly be a lot of Cars Characters this year ( like "Mater);
The city hall where I live keeps a tree up all year long and decorataes it for each holiday...it's really neat....they do an Angel theme for Christmas....

Uhh...sounds ..
Well, I picture a trailer, and the door opens someone steps out and a cigarette is hanging out the side of his/her mouth. They might be in their underwear and I can see their "Don't mess with Texas" sign thumb tacked to the door. And looking behind her/him...there's the red, white, and blue christmas tree.

anyone patriotic would love it. Sounds good. Make the tree white and then use red and blue ornaments.

I don't really care for theme Xmas trees. They seem rather impersonal to me.
Most of our ornaments are old and junky, but they carry a lot of memories.

I would think that your very into patriotism. Really you could buy a white chrismas tree and spraypaint it any color you want.
