a guy should ask out the girl. but, if the girl has liked the guy for some time, and he still hasnt asked her out, the girl should ask the guy. either.

I think that the guy should ask the girl out instead of the girl asking the guy out. It's easier when the guy does it because it traditional.

I don't think it matters anymore. I have know some guys to be put-off by it and some that wait for tha woman to ask them. One guy says he has never asked a woman out (and is proud of it); he rarely gets an invitation, tho', and whines all the time about not getting any. I remind him every so often that he might want to do the asking and he refuses...I say he's chicken.

Girls should not ask out guys. Girls should use their flirting skills to signal to the guy that, if he WERE to ask her out, she would say YES. That means touching his arm, playing with her hair, keeping eye contact that is longer than usual, laughing and smiling. If the guy doesn't have the yarbles to ask her out, then he is a weenie who needs to work on his self-confidence. Every guy knows when a girl is interested in him. Once the signals are thrown out there, if he doesn't respond he isn't interested.

I believe that it is ok to ask someone out that you are interested in, but keep in mind that you are risking rejection. But also keep in mind that your age should come into play here, if you are old enough for dating.
