No, the fresh air is good for both of you. Make sure your little tyke is dressed appropriately and has a hat and mittens on as well. If it is windy, you may want to reconsider. (Bring a blanket along in case, you can tuck this around them) . After situated in the stroller make sure pant legs are pulled down/socks pulled up so there is no cold air getting at the skin.

Not at all. When my son was a year old, he and I went on a 5 mile Heart walk. With the windchill it was well below 32. He was well wrapped and in his stroller. By the end of the first mile, he was asleep. If you use fleece blankets they will help to hold body heat in.

Absolutely not! My daughter and I have walked outside almost every day, in every kind of weather, since she was 1 month old. Just make sure you dress her/him appropriately. In this case, start by making sure that your child is wearing warm pants, sweater, shoes and socks. Top off with a nice warm jacket, hat and gloves, and put a blanket over their lap. Be sure to check on them frequently though, especially if the wind chill might be a factor. Have a fun walk!

I remember when I was in New york city about 7 yrs old with my brother, and my sister in a wagon and we were bundled up It was freezing! I got to see rockafeller skating rink, it is well worth it to go out and let the children see the different colours and it'll show them that a new season is coming.

Bundle them up well in layers and put some sort of chap stick or Vaseline on exposed skin so they don't become chapped. Get their lips too.
