Inflammatory bowel disorder?

The diverticulae are tiny pouches in the colon that can be blocked by small food items that aren't digested, like seeds. Once they become blocked, they can become infected and inflamed, resulting in a number of bowel problems. This is commonly caused by a diet low in fiber, although there can be other contributing causes.

I just got a colonoscopy and was told I have diverticulitis. Parts of the colon wall weaken and bulge out. Bacteria traveling through the intestines can sometimes get trapped in these pouches, resulting in infection. Antibiotics help, also a low fiber diet. Stay away from nuts and seeds!!!
