If he really likes you, he'll find the courage.
My boyfriend had liked me for about 7 months before asking me out. He knew I had liked him, but he was shy and didn't do it for forever. We were both on the FIRST robotics team and when we took a trip to Houston Texas, he told one of the girls on the team that he was going to ask me down there. And he did, on the last day right before we left. lol
Sometimes they're shy and just need time. He was really shy and scared to ask me, but he did eventually.
But if you're not willing to wait until he gets enough courage to ask you, try asking him on a date. Girls asking guys isn't unheard of or bad. Just go for it.

Well maybe he don't like you back then. If he lacks the courage in something you say is so obvious then either two things is happening. You are wrong about him liking you or he is lacking in the confidence area. If its the latter then I would say approach him since you are not lacking in that area, but if you are then I would say....HOLD YOUR BREATH, WALK UP TO HIM, AND JUST PLANT ONE ON HIM! If that don't solve it girl you better learn how to kiss...lol!

for hamburgers, or anything. Or ask him to a movie that you particularly want to see, or to a party.
